SUMMARY REPORT BY PASTOR IJEOMA UBA-NJOKU (SWEDEN)

Conference overview & summary

This year’s retreat/conference was the 6th edition of the women in ministry conference.  THEME IS emerging of a new season. This was a landmark conference, organized in responds to God’s instructions to bring women in ministry together for the emerging of a new season. It was 3 days/nights of worship, praise, word, seminars, intercession, ministration, and impartation.

The history of WIM/preparation

The seeds of this gathering were planted back in 2014 by God in the heart of His handmaiden Evang. Oluwatoyin Fatunsin. The First edition of the summit was in 2017 held in Madrid Spain. Since that time the numbers of attendees had risen progressively.

Women in ministry conference Madrid 2022
We witnessed women from 13 nations rise to seek God and enter their new season. Their passion for Jesus was palpable. Right from the beginning it was clear they had not come to play-They pressed into the presence of God, hungry and expectant. The participants engaged with open heart and received more insight/revelation and clarity on their assignments. The Lord gave some new assignments.

Physical & Spiritual Planning

This landmark gathering was planned, financed, and led by God through His servants Evang. Toyin Fatunsin and Dr Olumide Fatunsin and their God-given team. The gathering was pulled together by a core team of DODP members and other support team of women from around the world.

The spiritual groundwork that the convener laid for this event is remarkable. To ensure that there wouldn’t be gaps in prayer, 8 women were signed up to pray for 8 weeks specifically for the conference. It was a continuous prayer for 8 weeks for the three days.

Contact phone number

This year, there was a phone number registered in the ministry’s name ready to assist all attendees until they get to Spain. The conference officials assigned to this task did not sleep until the last woman came in around 2 am, served with food and ushered to her room. That was remarkable

Pick up and dropped off from/to the airport

The ministry hired a bus that picked up and dropped off attendees according to their flight schedule. Those whose traveling itinerary couldn’t fit into the pickup/ drop off schedule, were asked to take a taxi which was paid by the ministry upon arrival at the hotel.

Welcome pack

The convenergave a welcome gift full of yummy snacks, juice, and water to every attendee upon arrival.
Dinner upon arrival

The popular madam Gold’s food was served to every attendee upon arrival. Her food is loved by all. The convener always brings her from Netherlands to come and cook for women in ministry every year. She’s simply the best.

Prayer walks - Day 1-3
Each day starts with a prayer walk around the hotel.
There’s something powerful about this walk, the fresh air, the silent talk with the Holy Spirit while the women declare that they are emerging out of limitations; emerging from darkness to light; and have authority.

Morning devotion
Each day after the prayer walk, the women immediately move into early morning worship, word, intercessory prayers, and ministration. These sessions brought deliverance and liberations. Many women receive personal ministration and were set free. The ministrations were particularly handled by the convener Evang. Toyin Fatunsins ministration, and were powerful and life transforming.

Breakfast
Each day after the early morning prayer walk, morning devotion- worship, intercession, and ministrations, the women were treated to a continental breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, and they ate as the Lord gives them the ability to eat.

The form

This year a form was shared to identify and know each woman’s ministry, their area of need and challenges. This was to help the convener and her husband serve the women better. That was a very poignant moment for every attendee, the women were touched by that grand gesture. The convener was passionate about seeing every woman emerge and succeed in their calling.
